Retro Toilet Renovation – A New Pink & Black Tiled Toilet

The bathroom of my 1961 ranch property was really worn-out. It experienced been poorly up-to-date a few moments in the earlier. I decided to rework it to a retro model ideal for a property of this age. I primarily based the layout on the bathroom in my grandparents’ 1956 property.

  2. Very nice and I am glad you reused the medicine cabinet. The old tub and toilet were nice as well but all of us have different tastes. This turned out great including the electrical covers…. didn't know those were availiable.

  3. Nice, hopefully you put a GFCI breaker and didn't just remove the GFCI plug. Otherwise that is an electrocution hazard for people and it is not up to code.

  6. Beautiful bathroom!!! I love these old mid century bathrooms like this, so much character!!! I HATE and I mean HATE it when people gut these in favor of some new, ugly trendy bathroom! Why can't people just appreciate these classic bathrooms, Idiots!!! I plan to build a late 50's to early 60's style ranch home with a mid century late 50's to early 60's theme through out the entire house, even the kitchen. The bathroom will be pink and maroon tiled, but I'm going to go with a tiled vanity top and tiled floor.
