Kitchen Cabinet

Household built cabinet making use of low-priced wooden, full price tag $twenty

I necessary a cabinet in my office to place my goodies, I determined to use the least expensive wooden, the very good issue is that it only price tag $twenty to make the cabinet all concluded BUT I experienced to rip every single peace of wooden, over-all it took me a 7 days for the reason that of it, If I would have used income for tricky wooden $two hundred it would have using me only two days, there is the change. income vs time

  4. I like this woodworking book “pepe amazing plan” (Google it). Not only does it cover wood working methods, but it even explains the expansion cycles of trees which lead to the characteristics that craftsmen find favorable in lumber. Simply put I had to get a second copy for my father.

  8. Mr. Scott, that is a really nice cabinet you built. What kind of wood is that, again? And do you recommend it for salt air weather elements? I'm trying to build a nice cabinet for my stereo equipment and store it in my storage room at my beach house in the Galveston area. If you could give me some suggestions on what's best, material wise, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

  14. One woodworker to another I find sometimes the nicest projects are done with the cheap stuff. I think the cabinet looks ace. At the least it has character. I like all my projects to have character especially wood. I dont like the commercial processed look of wood. I have Oak cabinets in my kitchen and want to take them out and build my own. They just look too much commercialized. But I guess thats just a personal preference. My wife to a point she rather me build it than buy it.

  16. I know this is an old video, but I'm wondering if you have an update, I noticed you mentioned somewhere that this wood can warp, have you had any problems with that? I'm looking to remodel my kitchen and trying to find the right wood for cheap. I've been thinking of doing a rustic look completely built out of pallets 😀 I don't have any experience with this kind of work, just going to wing it.

  34. Since you said the furring strips suck to work with, and they warp so bad, what would you use if you were trying another cabinet on the cheap?

    Thanks!
