Townhouse Renovation Series – House Tour (Prior to)

Back in September 2017, I bought a five floor, two condominium, 320 sqm (three,450 sqft) townhouse in Brussels, with the concept of turning it into a share household.

A 1 bed room condominium is found on the 2nd floor, and a four bed room condominium sits on the 3rd, 4th and 5th flooring. The 1 bed room condominium will be converted into two ensuite rooms, so that the share household capabilities six bedrooms and 4 baths.

Prior to everything else, I have installed my new workshop on the initially floor, which is significantly bigger than my former workshop! It took me more than two months to have a good set up, and I am nonetheless far from getting done!

Electrical and plumbing/heating apart, I resolved to remodel the full household myself, so it will just take a whilst!

Below is the present condition of the household. The electricity and plumbing are 90% done, and I already labored a good deal in the household but as you can see I am not done nevertheless!

  3. Town house? looks like an old Hotel the size of the en suites, they are well big.
I saw one description saying 2.5 baths on the 4th floor? How do you get 2 and a half baths?
That's alot of work to do on your own, one floor at a time will do for starters. Good Luck.

  4. Good luck, I look forward to following your progress – I hope you will be using OSB somewhere? And perhaps some other interesting materials here and there. I am soon making a traditional panelled bathroom vanity but with a concrete top for my shower room…
