The Goring Dining Room, 15 Beeston Place, Westminster, London SW1W 0JW
A momentous lunch from last week.
Loadsa lovely breads.
Cambria Viognier, Tepusquet Vineyard 2017.
Baby pig, apple sauce, black pudding and the creamiest mash imaginable!
Domaine du Meix-Foulot, Mercurey, 2014.
Driftwood goat’s cheese, Beauvale blue cheese, Isle of Mull cheddar and the redoutable Stinking Bishop.
Château Lafon, Sauternes, 2016.
The service was excellent and the whole ambience wasn’t at all stuffy. The staff didn’t bat an eye when I moon-stomped my way to the table with my beloved Doc Martens!
NB Incidentally this was not the most expensive solo dining meal I’ve had, it was at Andrew Edmunds instead.
