  1. Hi,

Does anyone know what is the tool that he used to at 0'51 seconds?

    Thank you so much!

  2. I've been laying for 60 years: you install the carpet from side to side, not top to bottom or verce-visa, you disrespectful whippersnappers! Anybody knee high to a grasshopper knows that! And "waterfall style" is for sissies: try laying "prison style" or "truckstop style" you candyasses.

  8. Does the carpet not need to be stapled, is the tackless strip alone enough to hold it?

  9. Never have fitted stairs bottom to top…start top to bottom. .as the carpet goes over the nosing bring it back up and fold and bring back over nosing ..stretch downwards onto grippers with bolster. .then hammer into grippers with heavy duty mallet kinder to the ears. ..personally don't care how it's done as long as stairs are not baggy and loose.

stretch across your stair. Also anyone notice he pulled to top stair of each run off the strip and didn't hammer and stair tool it down… have fun paying me to come fix them after he leaves…

  12. Thanks for showing this video. Super helpful as I have a small staircase with landing going into the basement. I'm wondering how to connect the last stair to the landing carpet and also how to finish the carpet to our main floor that has a laminate nose casing. Superb video, thanks for posting.

  26. I fit my stairs Top down and use just my bolster, It's the fastest way and puts the least amount of wear and tear on your body. Fuck doing bottom to top with the stretcher!!
