  11. I dont have the kind if damage on a cabinet door that requires a lot of sanding…maybe none…not sure if I MUST sand. It is damage where the steam from a rice cooker lightened up the finish on a door. Will using paint and stain remover be enough or do I need to sand. There is no "roughed up" or textured damage. Discolored spot is same smooth feel as the rest of the door.
