  1. OKAY HI! I can breathe after doing nothing but this bathroom for 8 days straight. Couple of notes after realizing I didn't mention somethings in the video. I didn't show updating the faucet because I caused not only the sink to spring a leak but somehow in the two pipes of the bidet as well. That's why it looks like my toilet is plugged in towards the end. As far as the window treatment I haven't decided on but I'm thinking a natural rolling wood tone bamboo type of deal – what are you thoughts!? If you guys have tips on sealant for concrete and tile, please let me know as I don't want for all this hard work to be for nothing! Ah hope you take away some bit of inspiration from this xx.

  10. Hi Rachel I am from New Zealand and Ive watching all your projects. I have just brought a 1980s house and have to redo the batrhroom (Yikes!!) and normally I would freak out at the thought of doing it myself. But your honesty and journalling your experiencs via media, has motivated me more to "figure it out and learn as you go along" and the courage to reno my bathroom, thank you so much

  14. Ok I don’t know you at all, that’s the first video of yours I watch but I’m soooo proud of you!!! I can’t believe you did all that by yourself!! It’s designed tastefully and executed clean and precise. I watch a lot of those videos and most of them are a joke, this is a gem!! I’ve done a bathroom makeover similar to this in the first apartment I got when I moved to LA it was old and dirty and I made it into a Airbnb guest bathroom. Repainting the shower and the metals was a nightmare. The bathtub skirt wouldn’t stick no matter what I used to glue it. I managed to finish it beautifully with a lot of help from my bf. But that was work. It took days. So I know the struggle. I’m so admirative. Really looking forward to learn and do as much as I can by myself whenever I’ll be lucky enough to become a home owner. If your goal was to inspire it’s definitely a success. I hope he enjoys his bathroom everyday. 💖✨🌸

  21. Very cute. I preferred the vanity unit doors white though. Peel & stick vinyl floor strips ('plank' sized) come in similar floor patterns . Mega cheap on Wish.com.

  23. Very inspiring video. You did an excellent job on the makeover! ❤️
For my tastes, I believe the large white stenciling on the floor is too busy. Small decorative white stenciling(or stamping) just inside the perimeter would be less busy. I may have chosen a floor color that matched your concrete countertop and used simple black stenciling OR just kept the floor solid black.

Thinking non traditional, a cute idea would be to stamp the floor with wild animal tracks. 😀

And the glass on the window could be covered with window film. Window film comes in all sorts of colors and designs.
