Bathroom Remodeling

Learn Bath Remodel – Just before and Immediately after

Around the Winter of 2018, I gutted my very small master rest room, moved a wall to double the useable area, and absolutely rebuilt it from the floor up with high-conclude finishes like Carrara marble and a sensible shower.

This video reveals the ahead of and after such as the structure method applying a Sketchup model.

  1. Love the tile you chose! ….especially the basketweave in the floor of the shower! Do you remember the brand/style number?

  3. Just found this channel and I'm obsessed with it. Shout out to all the GREAT dads out there who use their handiness to improve the surroundings of their loved ones. Your kids and your wives appreciate this kind of stuff more than you realize! Some of my fondest memories are of my dad building a loft bed for me. It's so cool to have a father who is willing and able to build lasting pieces of furniture, remodels, and memories.

  9. My first thought upon entering the bathroom was: Wouldn't it have been cheaper (than cutting the shower glass) & an easier install to just eliminate that 1/2 wall to the left of the sink, move the vanity a few inches to the left, so the toilet would have more space & appear to be more centered? Plumbing for the vanity can be adjusted easier than the hole for the toilet, & would've looked more spacious in there…
I love the fact that you make a successful effort to show us THE WHOLE THING from all angles! I get frustrated trying to see things in other videos, & am sometimes unable to understand what they're referring to.
I admit, I don't remodel bathrooms, but we DID do one triplex, & my SON remodels them (general Contractor), so I study details, as MY eye is from the client point of view. So my questions are directed at the guys that have to perform the work….
The colors & choice of tiles are BEAUTIFUL, as are the shower shelves & seat. & I love the vanity too! But again, IKEA, as well as ALL dresser makers do not give us the full depth of the drawers! In the olden days? we had BIG drawer space, now, the drawer fronts are big, the insides are 1/2 walls. Bet you could hack that, too! As is? Can fit more in there with shoe boxes as organizers (so things don't fall all over). + One drawer for spare towels, or all TP…?
Thank you for showing us this.

  15. Hi, question for you… now that you've been using the bathroom for several months, any regrets going with marble? Have you had any issues with staining or upkeep? What do you use to clean it? My understanding is that typical bathroom cleaners are way too harsh. I've committed to marble and my demo starts this Saturday. Just trying to get a realistic idea of what I've gotten myself into…lol!

  16. Great Job! I'm trying to fit a bigger vanity into my very small bathroom. May I ask how much room is between the vanity and toilet and toilet and wall?
