    Why do you have to use 100% silicone for bath?

  13. Believe or not. We’ve been in this house 19 years. Never had to recaulk once, never had mold. NEVER
    My cousin had a squeegee in her shower and I asked her about it. She dries her walls and caulk lines after each shower.
    So in this house we did the same.
    No mold ever. Gotta check after the kids shower to make sure they toweled the caulk lines.
    It only takes 3 minutes to dry the walls and caulk lines.

    If you take a shower and leave
    You will have the water sitting and you will get mold.

  22. I thought the corner joints and tub/tile joint were supposed to be empty of grout and filled with silicone. what is the point of applying silicone over grout?
