  3. Love it! I’m currently doing my kitchen. I got some fablon from b&q and am now wishing I got the white marble one. You sound like you live pretty close to my neck of the woods. I live in St. Helens xxx

  4. I’m really surprised how amazing the kitchen turned out. Cheap enough for a temporary fix before spending a lot of money on a new kitchen.

  5. Can you paint the floor tiles like the backsplash? That was quite a change for so little money.

  10. It looks amazing and I am so happy you did all that for around £100. My kitchen had a fire and I am waiting for the insurance company.

  16. I went to comment section to see if anyone asked about the inside of those glass doors cupboards, they didn't paint it right?
My kitchen looks horrible but it's hardwood and granite counter top and throwing it away would be a waste but it came with the house and I don't really like how it looks. I wanted to fix it but I have a glass doors cupboard and I can't decide if I should paint the inside or let it the current wood color :/

  21. I had the same kitchen. I foolishly had it ripped out and a new one put in. The new one is already damaged and the doors swollen with steam. Just not made anything like as good as the solid wood ones. How I wished I had kept the old one and had it done up.

  25. Me and my partner have just bought our first house and the kitchen is very similar to what yours was, you have done such a good job! Does the finish on the cupboards look good close up? And did you do the inside of the cupboards too? Really well done to you both!

  26. Those door handle surrounds are pinned to the door with a very small nail, with something thin like a chisel and some leverage they pop off quite easily

  34. Looks great! We’re currently half way through doing a similar DIY on our kitchen so seeing you do the ‘fake marble’ was so useful! We’ve gone all white so hoping it’s not all going to look too much and a bit cold but fingers crossed it works! 💗
