  2. How do you know how much paint to use? I know with this paint, you wouldn't use much. Did it take a full gallon of the paint? Or was the amount in the kit enough for it?

  3. No sanding? No priming? I would never do kitchen cabinets without sanding and a coat of oil-based primer.

  4. Great video. I'm tackling the same project, I like the tack brush for the corners. I would suggest a better drill like a impact driver, essential when pulling screws from the cabinets. I suggest Milwalkee or ryobi since you already have one.

  12. You may want to use a razer blade to go along the edge of blue tape that is closest to the painted surface espically if the paint has dried. It helps remove the tape without pulling off chips of paint.

  16. Yucky because it was a rental? Stereotype statement, I travel and often rent, I clean before moving in and when moving out I'm told by all landlords I left the place immaculate. I wipe all cabinets down weekly and as needed, clean all windows and glass monthly and as needed, sweep daily, mop weekly and as needed…point being blanket statements can be incorrect.

  19. Did you use Beyond paint in flat or semi gloss or does it only come in one type? If only one type, do the cabinets look flat or have a little Sheen? I always think cabinets should have a little sheen to look more professional….just my opinion.

  27. “Self texturizing” don’t you mean “self leveling” and if you’ve got Vaseline on your hands and you’re touching the cabinets then it’s going to get on the cabinets which will cause them to resist the paint 🙄
