  5. I use the rustoleum in many projects. Its a great paint and very durable. Its much better than a lot of chalk paints out there.
As for urethane, u use there water based verathane. Its a great top coat with low voc and dries very quick to.

  8. I just started this today and it actually does say to 'sand' with 300 grit paper! Doing it all in one day seems unrealistic to me. I've followed every step so far and began the prep work betwween 8-9:00 this morning. I'm only now getting ready to put on a first coat but debating on waiting until tomorrow. I'm exhausted lol! I'm also 54 with a new knee and shoulder repair so, not as fast as I once was ha ha! Am excited to see the paint though!!

  12. I've been considering repainting my kitchen cabinets (eek!) and I love the gray color on your bathroom vanity. I used annie sloan the first time and it worked really well, but is pretty pricey and time-consuming. I'm so glad to find your recommendations! Now I just have to convince my husband. ha!

  15. This is awesome! Super informative. I’m going to paint our kitchen island soon, we left it and didn’t use the Nuvo because I couldn’t decide on a color. I’m thinking grey and I want to try out the chalked paint. Thanks for sharing!

  24. Found your video on the facebook cleaning group. I've been considering asking my landlord if he would allow me to paint my cabinets (currently an ugly brown color), but I've been going back and forth between actually painting or just using contact paper.

  26. This was so helpful! I have tried the chalk paint before. I used it to redo my sons changing table but I didn't seal it (my bad) it was my first time every painting something and I didn't realize I need to seal it so now there are places that have gotten wet and its like peeled off. I need to redo it again the right way cause it did turn out decent. I hated the paint brush lines though.
